Awesome rental for families with children
Our group ranged in age from 5-66 and we all loved the rental and location. There are two beach accesses within easy walking distance to a wide clean beach. The three bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for the six of us plus two pull out twins in living room were used every night by grandchildren! Garage and back porch were great for washing off sand and storing e-bikes, beach towels, shoes, chairs and toys. Beachview was perfect for the sunrises. Also, great WiFi and cellular service! Thanks so much to Oceanfront Cottage staff for the great rental and service!

Atlantic Ocean #6 is such a wonderful venue for families to enjoy time together and on the beach! Those common spaces are fantastic for storing all of your belongings, so they don't crowd your rooms to relax in. Perfect Vacation, Perfect Rental
This was my family's first stay in a rental like this. We have never ventured beyond standard hotel travel. I researched VRBO's and the like exhaustively for this trip. Tybee Island was a favorite getaway destination for my mother and her sisters. They had been coming almost annually for many years and she always told us we needed to come along one day. I never made the time to coordinate the trip and she passed away last summer. After losing her, we knew we had to come see Tybee for ourselves. I was a little nervous about hurricane season when we made our plans, but when I called and spoke with the rental office, I was assured that they would keep us posted if anything ever got bad enough on the island to impact our stay. We were lucky that our arrival was the day after Helene had blown herself out. Our roadtrip from Atlanta was relatively smooth (the timing wasn't right for us to fly into a closer airport this time around). Power outages along the way and lots of downed trees, but road crews had cleared the interstate by then. Upon arrival, we were immediately pleased with our choice. The unit was clean and well-decorated, appliances were new and in excellent working condition and plenty of kitchenware to cook and eat in. The set up is perfect. Private garage with backdoor exit to the beach; a hose and shower head mounted on the outside wall for knocking the sand off before coming back in. The second level (main level) living room area provides a perfect view of the beach and the ocean and the sunrise. Three BR and three baths worked so well for our group- a family of four; Mom, Dad, 13 year old, 21 year old. Definitely could accommodate more with sleeper sofa and chairs. We had one minor hiccup - likely related to the power outage Tybee had suffered before our arrival. The A/C on the top level wasn't running. I called the after-hours help desk and a gentleman was knocking on the door within 10 minutes. He puttered with a few things and did a hard reset of the system and it was humming away just fine within minutes. The memories we made on this trip will last a lifetime. Our ability to be comfortable and feel like we were truly in a home-away-from-home had a LOT to do with that. Thank you so much! We loved our stay at Atlantic #6.

Great location and beautiful condo

We had a delightful stay in a very well decorated, clean, and cozy condo. Having one bedroom on the main level was great and convenient. We were able to walk to several restaurants and walk to the beach not bad. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Views

Very nice property. Steps from the beach. Loved the views, especially from the upper balcony. So fun watching dolphins, windsurfers and cargo ships coming and going! North Beach Rentals were great setting up our chairs and umbrellas. The tandem garage was a nice surprise. Great spot for a nice relaxing family getaway.

Perfect, Inside and Out

Such a beautiful beach! We loved being able to see it from our windows and access it so easily. The condo is beautiful inside, nicely furnished and decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped for the chefs in our crew. Clearly the owners really care about the guest experience! Beyond our expectations - We are so thankful for a wonderful week!!

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Unit just as advertised. Love that each unit is separate so we don’t have to worry about the kid’s running and making noise for people below us

Great Location!

VERY close to the beach. Walk out back door and only steps away from the sand. Walk out the front door and only steps away from the pools. View of the beach from the two inside balconies was beautiful. No problems except Wi-Fi and cable would go in and out, however, I believe owner was having that checked the day we arrived. It wasn’t a big deal because we didn’t spend any time watching TV, but we did need to use a lot of cellular data. Don’t let that deter anyone from renting this property. There are too many positive things to mention!

Amazing Condo
This was our second trip to Tybee and our first stay at Beachside Colony. For this trip, convenience was our priority. Atlantic Ocean 6 was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to walk out of our condo directly to the beach. Being close to the pool and on site restaurant was nice. The views from our balconies were amazing. The condo is beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. I highly recommend Atlantic Ocean 6 and would definitely stay here again.

Birthday Week

This is an absolutely wonderful place to spend a week! The view from the balconies are beyond amazing and the beach is only steps away. The kitchen is fully stocked. We have fallen in love with Tybee and will definitely be renting this place again! Thanks to all!

Great place even in bad weather!

The place is beautiful so even though the weather was lousy, we could hear the waves and watch the ships come. Great location, highly recommend!
